Gotham Gazette is an online magazine about policy and politics in New York City. I've been their Web Producer and Graphic Designer since 2008.

The current site was designed in 2004 and needed simplification and clarity. I re-organized the website by removing over 40 links from valuable real-estate on the home page, re-structuring user pathways, and adding more room for advertising.

To reflect the changing environment of online journalism, the new site will simplify content hierarchy, incorporate social media tools, and have a content management system that works better for a 24-hour news cycle. It is set to launch in late October.
