Two Minutes About My Father

In the summer of 2006, I saw my father again for the first time in almost 10 years. I put together this slideshow shortly after my visit back to Taiwan.

Two Minutes About My Father (2006)

An excerpt from 'Up', an animation inspired by the architectural landscape of New York City. The music-box sounds from Radiohead's Kid A seemed to perfectly encapsulate the wonder of sprouting skyscrapers.

I shot some video one afternoon at the aquarium off the Coney Island boardwalk. The slow-moving pace of the underwater world and the fragments of light cutting through the exhibition tanks led to a short electronic score. The twinkling bells in the score are reminiscent of the meditative ringing at Buddhist temples.
